ATLANTA, May 27, 2026 – Arnall Golden Gregory LLP (AGG) is pleased to announce that Evan D. Harms and Sarah M. Bangs have joined the firm as partners in its Real Estate practice. Evan is located in AGG’s Washington, D.C. office and Sarah is located in the Atlanta office. The expansion also includes the addition of Daniel A. “These additions reflect the continued growth and evolution of our Real Estate practice in key markets and service areas,” said Wesley C. Daniel further enhances our depth in affordable housing, tax structuring, and real estate investment matters. Together, they strengthen our ability to support clients across the full spectrum of commercial real estate transactions.”
Evan Harms Adds Retail and Owner-Operator Depth to AGG’s D.C. Real Estate Team
Evan brings an owner-operator perspective to AGG’s Real Estate practice, drawing on more than two decades of experience representing retail, commercial, and mixed-use clients. His background includes serving as Deputy General Counsel for a major retail owner-developer, where he advised on leasing, development, acquisitions, and broader business strategy. In private practice, Evan has counseled owners, developers, and operators across the DMV region and nationally on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions. He serves on the ICSC Legal Advisory Council and is a frequent speaker on retail real estate and commercial leasing topics. At AGG, Evan will focus on continuing to grow the firm’s real estate presence in Washington, D.C., while leveraging the firm’s established Atlanta platform and national client base.
“We are thrilled to welcome Evan, Sarah, and Daniel to AGG,” said Jonathan L. Neville, partner and co-chair of AGG’s Retail industry team. “Retail clients increasingly want advisors who understand not only the legal side of transactions, but also the operational and strategic realities behind them. Evan’s background and market experience make him a strong addition to our growing retail and real estate teams in Washington, D.C. and nationally.”
“There is a real opportunity in the D.C. market right now,” Evan said. “Clients want lawyers who understand how deals get done and how real estate businesses operate. AGG brings exactly that, and having worked alongside this team for years, I’ve seen firsthand how they operate. They get to the finish line. That’s what clients need, and that’s what we’re going to deliver here.”
Evan earned his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and his B.S. from Indiana University.
Sarah Bangs Strengthens AGG’s Industrial, Multifamily, and Mixed-Use Development Capabilities

Her practice is particularly aligned with evolving areas of growth within the commercial real estate market, including industrial and mixed-use development.
“AGG has the platform and the client base that allows you to do genuinely interesting, high-level work,” Sarah said. “I’ve worked alongside AGG attorneys over the course of my career, and the quality of the work and the people have always stood out. I’m looking forward to building here – both for my own practice and clients, and for the impressive team already in place.”
Outside of her legal practice, Sarah is active in the broader real estate community through organizations including ULI, ICSC, and NAIOP Atlanta. She also serves on the board of 3Keys, an Atlanta-based nonprofit founded by local community members with support from former First Lady Rosalynn Carter that provides permanent supportive housing for individuals experiencing homelessness and mental illness.
