Biography

Daniel is an associate in the Real Estate and Tax practice groups and a member of the Affordable Housing and Economic Development & Public Finance industry teams.

He counsels clients on matters involving federal, state, partnership, international, and exempt organization tax law. Daniel also provides structuring and planning advice to real estate investment trusts (“REITs”), represents developers and investors in affordable housing tax credit and other tax credit projects, and provides tax advice related to real estate joint ventures.

In particular, Daniel works on affordable housing projects across the country assisting developers, investors, and project owners in structuring transactions qualifying for low-income housing credits (“LIHTCs”), historic rehabilitation tax credits (“HTCs”), and other state tax credits.
