AGG Strengthens Employment Practice with Addition of Partner John Bennett in Atlanta

ATLANTA, July 30, 2026 – Arnall Golden Gregory LLP (AGG) is pleased to welcome John Bennett as a partner in the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Employment practices. Based in the firm’s Atlanta office, John represents employers, executives, and governmental entities in employment litigation, workplace counseling, restrictive covenant disputes, commercial litigation, and Fair Housing Act matters. His addition further strengthens AGG’s ability to counsel employers and organizations facing increasingly complex workplace, regulatory, and business challenges.

John represents employers, including healthcare organizations, in litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, leave, labor relations, workplace safety, and other employment matters, while also advising clients on workplace compliance, internal investigations, employment policies, employee discipline, and management training. He also regularly handles restrictive covenant, non-compete, trade secret, unfair competition, and other complex commercial disputes. John also maintains a national Fair Housing Act practice, representing property owners, homeowners’ associations, apartment communities, senior living providers, and other housing organizations in litigation and administrative proceedings before federal and state enforcement agencies in more than 20 states.

Beyond litigation, a substantial portion of John’s practice focuses on proactive counseling. He advises employers on policy development, employee handbooks, leave management, internal investigations, and other workplace issues designed to help organizations minimize legal exposure before disputes arise. Clients frequently engage John as a trusted outside advisor, often serving as an extension of their in-house legal and human resources teams.

Prior to joining AGG, John spent nearly a decade at a well-known Atlanta labor and employment boutique and later joined a national firm where he served as chair of the Labor & Employment practice group and the Restrictive Covenants & Unfair Competition subgroup.

John earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law and his B.A. in English from the University of Georgia.
