Biography

Tom is an associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property practices.

Tom focuses his practice on brand protection, product diversion, and enforcement of intellectual property rights. He counsels clients on trademark and copyright licensing, drafting consent and coexistence agreements, and developing comprehensive prosecution and enforcement strategies.

His experience includes managing domestic and international trademark portfolios, advising on filing strategies, and representing clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (“TTAB”). He also assists clients in resolving domain name disputes before the World Intellectual Property Organization (“WIPO”) and in registering trademarks with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to prevent counterfeit imports.

Tom earned his J.D. from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University, where he served as vice justice of the Moot Court Board and as a member of The Civil Rights Law Journal. He received his B.A. in political science from St. Bonaventure University, where he was also captain of the Division I swim team.
