AGG Continues Firmwide Growth With Addition of Partner Beth Davis to Its Environmental and Healthcare Practices

Atlanta, November 28, 2023 – Arnall Golden Gregory LLP (AGG) is pleased to announce the addition of Elizabeth B. “Beth” Davis as a partner in the firm’s Environmental and Healthcare practice groups, as well as the Life Sciences industry team. Beth joins AGG’s Atlanta office as part of continued firmwide growth.

“I am excited to join AGG in support of our clients who continue to face new challenges related to environmental and healthcare issues — both from increased regulation and government oversight and from the rise in disputes involving environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices,” said Beth. “I look forward to helping clients navigate these unique obstacles related to environmental compliance and litigation.”

Beth’s practice is focused on regulatory law. As a former Assistant Regional Counsel with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, she leverages her experience and relationships to counsel businesses regulated by government agencies. Beth serves clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including chemical companies, real estate developers, retailers, lenders, drug and medical device manufacturers, and more. In her environmental practice, she guides clients through the nuances of regulatory compliance and permitting. She also handles the environmental facets of corporate and real estate transactions, as well as occupational safety and health compliance and zoning and land use issues. Beth has extensive experience with counseling and litigation in all aspects of federal and state laws related to hazardous substances and hazardous waste, underground storage tanks, water, air, pesticides, endangered species, and occupational safety and health.

Beth also advises clients on matters involving FDA and CPSC compliance. She counsels manufacturers, importers, and retailers regarding compliance with consumer product and food, drug, and medical device requirements to get their products to market. Additionally, she investigates and negotiates FDA and CPSC issues and related recalls.

Beth is a recognized leader in her practice area and active with several professional organizations, including the State Bar of Georgia Environmental Law Section; and the American Bar Association’s Environment, Energy, and Resources (SEER) and Litigation sections. She is recognized for her environmental work by Chambers USA and The Best Lawyers in America®. Additionally, The American Lawyer and Corporate Counsel have named her as a top-rated lawyer in energy, environmental, and natural resources law.

Outside of her practice, Beth is an advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion and opportunity within the legal profession. She serves as a board member and secretary with the National LGBTQ+ Bar Foundation and on the National Leadership Council for Lambda Legal.
