AGG Boosts Affordable Housing Team With Addition of Jordana Hausman and Marissa Liff in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C., November 10, 2025 – Arnall Golden Gregory LLP (AGG) welcomes both Jordana L. Hausman and Marissa S. Liff as of counsel in the firm’s Real Estate practice and Affordable Housing industry team. Both join the firm’s growing roster in Washington, D.C.

“Jordana and Marissa bring broad experience and perspectives to further elevate our service in the affordable housing space,” said Kelly B. Bissinger, partner in AGG’s Affordable Housing industry team. “As we eye significant opportunity in the upcoming year for developers in the affordable housing sector, we are continuing to bolster our capabilities with skilled negotiators who bring a strategic, business-minded approach to client service and all matters of legal counsel.”

Jordana Hausman represents developers in complex real estate transactions financed through federal and state tax credit programs. She has significant experience guiding clients through the acquisition, development, and financing of affordable housing projects utilizing the low-income housing tax credit (“LIHTC”), often in combination with tax-exempt bonds, historic rehabilitation tax credits, renewable energy tax credits, and other federal and state government subsidies. Before joining AGG, Jordana represented investors, syndicators, developers, and lenders in LIHTC, new markets tax credit, and renewable energy tax credit transactions throughout the country. She earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A. from Cornell University.

“After spending more than 10 years helping investors close affordable housing transactions, I’m excited to bring that experience and perspective to AGG to support our developer clients,” Jordana said. “I’m looking forward to collaborating with AGG’s talented and dedicated team to help our clients navigate complex transactions and keep projects moving forward.”

Marissa Liff practices at the intersection of real estate and not-for-profit law with an emphasis on mixed-use and multifamily affordable residential real estate development projects. Her clients include not-for-profit, for-profit, and joint venture developers involved in the acquisition, construction, rehabilitation and preservation of mixed-use projects that are financed with low-income housing, new markets or other tax credits, municipal bonds and/or private, federal, state and local debt financing. Prior to joining AGG, Marissa worked at a boutique law firm focused on the creation of affordable and supportive housing and community development in New York City. She also previously worked as counsel for the New York State Housing Finance Agency, where she represented the state in complex public financing transactions subsidizing affordable housing development.

Marissa earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law, her M.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her B.S. from Tulane University.

“The opportunity to serve AGG’s national base of clients is an exciting next step in my career,” Marissa said. “The firm’s collaborative culture across and within practice areas presents a unique opportunity to counsel clients on complex, multifaceted transactions across the country and to work together on developing projects that have a measurable impact on communities and individuals.”
