Taylor N. Young

Taylor is an associate in the Real Estate practice and a member of the Retail industry team. She focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions, representing landlords, tenants, franchisors, and franchisees in retail leasing, ground leasing, development, and acquisition matters involving shopping centers and other retail properties.

Taylor assists clients with a broad range of retail and commercial real estate matters, including negotiating in-line retail leases, supporting ground lease transactions, and assisting with purchase and sale agreements for commercial real estate assets. She also handles title review, title policy conversions, due diligence coordination, and survey review as part of retail leasing, development, and acquisition projects. In addition, Taylor helps clients to develop leasing strategies that align with operational goals and position their retail properties for future value and marketability.

Working with shopping center owners, retail operators, brokers, franchise systems, and in-house legal teams, Taylor addresses day-to-day leasing and transactional issues while keeping deals moving efficiently. She also supports franchisors with lease-related matters, including rider review and operational compliance considerations tied to franchise systems and brand standards, and represents franchisees throughout the lease negotiation process.

Clients and colleagues value Taylor’s organized, practical, and solution-oriented approach. Before joining AGG, Taylor worked at a residential real estate firm, where she gained experience working directly with individuals and business owners through significant transactions. That experience continues to influence the way she works with emerging retailers and growing franchise concepts, particularly those opening new locations and expanding their businesses.
