Biography
Madison is an associate in the Healthcare practice.
Madison focuses her practice on providing regulatory counseling for a variety of clients in the healthcare, healthcare technology and life sciences industry, including hospices, physician groups, and other healthcare providers. She provides guidance on federal and state issues relating to compliance, facility licensure, privacy and security (HIPAA/HITECH Act), and a range of healthcare transactions.
Madison graduated from Emory University School of Law, receiving a Juris Doctorate, with honors, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. During law school, she served as President of the Health Law Society; while at the University of Georgia, she was a research assistant in the UGA Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory.
Experience
Represented a publicly traded REIT in a $1.125 billion acquisition and restructuring of a senior housing provider that operates 96 senior-living communities as well as pharmacies in the Midwest.
Assisted in the expedited sale of Midwest-based ambulance provider.
