AGG Announces New Partners for 2024

Atlanta, January 3, 2024 – Arnall Golden Gregory (AGG) is very pleased to announce the promotion of two attorneys, effective January 1, 2024. Allison S. Cook and Gregory M. Gaylis have been elected as partners in the firm. Congratulations to Ali and Greg.

Ali is a partner in the Corporate & Finance and Technology practices and a member of the Payments Systems & Fintech industry team. She negotiates complex tech and payment systems transactions representing clients in technology, services, and payment processing in a wide range of corporate transactional matters, including technology licensing, SaaS, strategic transactions, commercial contract negotiation, corporate governance, and mergers & acquisitions. She is the former chief counsel of a global financial technology company, where she advised the payment processing business concerning all aspects of its legal needs. She is deeply experienced in handling merchant agreements, vendor relationships/procurement, complex partnering relationships, sponsor bank issues, ISO/agent agreements, card brand matters, and regulatory issues.

Greg is a partner in the Healthcare practice where he counsels clients on business transactional matters, such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, professional services arrangements, corporate governance, leases, and general contracting. His experience in healthcare regulatory and compliance issues includes the Stark Law, the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare and Medicaid fraud and abuse, antitrust, and health information privacy. He is a member of the firm’s Change of Ownership (CHOW) team that leads all regulatory aspects of healthcare transactions for investors, operators, managers, capital partners, and developers of all sizes and in all 50 states.
