AGG Adds International Trade Leaders Luis Arandia and Clinton Yu to Strengthen Global Compliance Capabilities
WASHINGTON, D.C., April 6, 2026 – Arnall Golden Gregory LLP (AGG) is pleased to announce that Luis F. Arandia, Jr. and Clinton K. Yu have joined the firm in Washington, D.C. as partners and co-chairs of the International Trade practice.
Luis and Clinton each bring more than 15 years of experience advising U.S. and multinational companies on customs and tariffs, trade remedies, export controls and economic sanctions, and foreign investment matters, including national security reviews before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
“We are making targeted investments in areas where clients are facing increased complexity and risk,” said Sean P. Fogarty, AGG managing partner. “Luis and Clinton materially deepen our capabilities and accelerate our focus on growing our international trade platform to meet evolving client demand. We are thrilled that they have joined us.”
Their arrival expands AGG’s international trade capabilities at a time when companies are facing frequent tariff policy changes, evolving export controls, complex enforcement challenges, and increased scrutiny of cross-border transactions. Businesses are under pressure to manage these overlapping requirements while maintaining operational and transactional efficiency.
“Tariffs, export controls, and national security reviews are now central to how companies operate and transact,” said Michael E. Burke, chair of AGG’s International practice and administrative partner of the Washington, D.C. office. “Clients need clear, business-focused guidance across those areas. Luis and Clinton strengthen our ability to deliver that across U.S. and global markets.”
“Trade and enforcement risks are converging and no longer operate in silos,” said Allison E. Raley, AGG International Compliance & Risk chair, who advises on international compliance and economic sanctions matters, including tariffs and import regulatory investigations. “Luis and Clinton bring the experience necessary to help clients align compliance, enforcement, and transaction planning under a single, cohesive legal strategy with AGG’s existing strengths.”

He earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, his B.A. from Rice University, and an LL.M., with distinction, in International Business and Economic Law from Georgetown University Law Center.
“Trade compliance now directly affects cost, sourcing, and market access,” Luis said. “Companies that approach it strategically are better positioned to manage regulatory shifts and turn compliance into a competitive advantage. At AGG, we’re working alongside a team that shares that commitment to practical, results-driven counsel.”
