Women's Initiative
Our Mission
AGG’s Women’s Initiative works hand-in-hand with the Diversity Committee. Its mission is to support and advance the professional development of women attorneys at AGG by achieving the following goals:
- To promote the retention and advancement of women attorneys by enhancing client development skills and helping women attorneys develop and/or expand their client base;
- To encourage women attorneys to seek leadership positions within the firm by exposing them to opportunities to develop firm leadership skills;
- To encourage women attorneys to contribute to and benefit from the economic viability of the firm;
- To enable women attorneys to become successful and contributing members of the firm while attaining a satisfactory balance between their legal careers and their personal aspirations; and
- To celebrate the accomplishments of our women attorneys.
The Women’s Initiative promotes internal networking and teambuilding among the firm’s women attorneys, female summer associates, clients, and the community. The firm supports and seeks to develop female leadership within the firm and to align itself with the firm’s female clients by understanding and supporting their unique needs as professional women.
