AGG Healthcare Co-Chairs Highlight Strategy Behind Dave Ault Hire, D.C. Growth in Daily Report
AGG Healthcare practice co-chairs Michael Barry and Hedy Rubinger were quoted in a Daily Report article covering the firm’s addition of AGG Healthcare partner David Ault as part of the continued growth of its Washington, D.C., healthcare regulatory platform.
Michael and Hedy explained that healthcare has been one of AGG’s most important practice areas since its founding and continues to be a strategic growth area for the firm.
“Our goal is to add to the team of attorneys who have firsthand experience at federal agencies such as HHS, CMS, OIG, and DOJ as they offer perspectives and strategies that benefit our broad array of healthcare clients,” they said.
“Given his background as a leader at CMS and CMMI, Dave’s arrival is a significant part of this effort as his experience in value-based care, Medicare payment, and CMS matters complements the broader regulatory, transactional, and litigation capabilities of our robust national healthcare practice,” Michael and Hedy said.
Michael and Hedy also shared that regulatory issues “are increasingly intertwined with our clients’ business decisions” and Dave’s experience in such areas as contracting and value-based care “responds directly to those needs.” Further, his addition bolsters AGG’s strong hospital and healthcare acquisitions teams.
