Kara Silverman and Alan Horowitz to Present at AHLA Long Term and Post-Acute Care Conference

AGG Healthcare attorneys Kara G. Silverman and Alan C. Horowitz will speak at the 2023 American Health Law Association’s (“AHLA”) Long Term and Post-Acute Care Law and Compliance Conference on March 1, 2023, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Kara will present on recent federal and state court decisions and enforcement actions impacting long-term care providers. Alan will facilitate a roundtable workshop discussion on how to fix the broken survey enforcement appeal process, focusing on changes in administrative law related to Auer deference and approaches for appeals to circuit courts.

This year’s sessions will focus on cutting edge issues that are front and center within the post-acute continuum. Sessions are geared toward nursing facility, assisted living, and home health audiences. The full conference will be held from March 1-3, 2023, at the Sheraton New Orleans.
