Althea Broughton to Speak on a Panel at the ABA’s Forum on Affordable Housing and Community Development Law 2024 Annual Meeting

AGG Real Estate partner and member of the Affordable Housing industry team, Althea Broughton, will speak at the American Bar Association’s Forum on Affordable Housing & Community Development Law 2024 Annual Meeting on May 23, 2024, from 3:45-5 p.m.

Althea will serve as a panelist on “Slicing and Dicing – Structuring for Multiple Uses.” The panel will discuss tax credit transactions twinned with other credits, government owned land, or other peculiarities that can create complex real estate issues. The panel will also focus on ownership structures utilizing condominiums, air rights parcels, ground leases, master leases, and other mechanisms, as well as how other considerations (e.g., collateral and tax considerations) can impact the ownership structure.
