AI & Innovation
Overview
Our Approach to Innovation
We use technology and AI to enhance how we deliver legal services, improving efficiency while maintaining the quality, judgment, and accountability clients expect.
Our attorneys are trained to use AI tools thoughtfully and responsibly. All work remains under the supervision of experienced legal professionals.
Governance & Responsible AI
A dedicated AI Governance Committee evaluates and approves tools before use, establishes firmwide policies, and oversees ongoing adoption.
All AI-assisted work is subject to human review. We follow clear protocols regarding client transparency and consent when AI is used in an engagement.
We apply practical outcome-focused innovation with business savvy judgment to solve real issues, not chase trends. Our AI and innovation program is grounded in strong governance, secure infrastructure, and a clear focus on real-world outcomes — not trends.
We excel at applying innovation in complex, highly regulated sectors to assess, deploy, and manage AI tools in alignment with our clients’ business objectives and risk tolerance.
How We Serve Clients With AI Needs
Our AI and innovation work builds on AGG’s deep experience advising clients on artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies. We help organizations evaluate, implement, and govern AI tools with legally sound and operationally practical strategies.
Capabilities include:
- Regulatory compliance for AI and automated tools
- AI governance, policies, and risk management frameworks
- Data privacy, cybersecurity, and vendor management
- Intellectual property and data rights (models, training data, and outputs)
- Transactions and investments involving AI businesses and data assets
- Government investigations and enforcement defense
- Litigation involving AI tools and data practices
Security & Protection of Client Data
We maintain robust security controls to protect client information across all systems, including AI-enabled tools. These include safeguards related to data privacy, access controls, loss prevention, identity and access, and 24/7 threat monitoring, detection, and response.
We use enterprise-grade platforms with contractual data protections and do not permit client data to be used for model training.
