Lee Redfearn

Lee is an associate in the Corporate & Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions practices and a member of the Private Equity industry team. He represents private equity sponsors, investment funds, portfolio companies, and public and private businesses throughout the transaction lifecycle, from structuring and negotiating deals to advising on post-closing operational and governance matters.

Lee’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, commercial agreements, joint ventures, and general corporate matters.

Before joining AGG, Lee spent several years at an AI-powered legal technology company serving private markets participants across the deal and fund lifecycle, giving him a unique, business-focused perspective on the strategic, operational, and commercial priorities facing today’s businesses and investment platforms. Previously, Lee practiced at a global law firm, where he served as outside general counsel, advising businesses on corporate transactions and governance matters across a range of industries. While earning his J.D., Lee served as a judicial extern at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Prior to law school, he was an investment banking analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in Atlanta, giving him a strong understanding of the financial and strategic considerations that impact corporate transactions.

Lee combines transactional experience, financial acumen, and technology-sector commercial insight to provide practical, business-focused counsel.
