Keevana E. Glossin

Keevana is an associate in the Healthcare practice and a member of the Life Sciences and Hospitals & Health Systems industry teams, focusing on healthcare regulatory compliance, privacy and data security, and healthcare transactions. She counsels hospitals, health systems, physician groups, post-acute care providers, and private equity investors on fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA and state privacy requirements, and Medicare and Medicaid compliance and reimbursement.

Keevana advises clients on Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law compliance, including self-disclosures to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (“HHS”) Office of Inspector General, and represents clients in investigations initiated by the HHS Office for Civil Rights related to HIPAA compliance. She helps clients design and implement enterprise privacy and compliance programs and negotiates privacy and data security terms in business associate agreements, data processing agreements, and technology and vendor contracts.

Keevana also conducts healthcare regulatory diligence in complex transactions, having supported private equity-backed acquisitions of providers across ophthalmology and optometry, cosmetic dermatology, physical and occupational therapy, durable medical equipment, and pharmacy, including related change of ownership and change of operator filings. She monitors emerging legislative and regulatory developments in healthcare transaction laws, privacy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence and advises clients on their practical business impact.

Keevana brings a practical, business-minded approach grounded in her experience as both outside regulatory counsel and in-house compliance counsel for a healthcare organization, where she led compliance investigations and privacy operations from strategy through resolution. That dual perspective helps her translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for clinical and operations teams. She is a member of the Atlanta Privacy Professionals Cooperative and has co-authored publications for the American Health Law Association on enterprise risk management and telehealth compliance.
