Sean Fogarty Highlights AGG’s Successful 2024 and Growth Plans in The Daily Report

The Daily Report featured AGG and firm managing partner Sean Fogarty in an article examining AGG’s strong performance in 2024.

“It’s actually a collection of broad-based successes across hundreds of clients,” Sean said.

AGG reported a 21% increase in gross revenue and a net income increase of 19.8%. These successes also contributed to an increase in profits per equity partner (“PEP”) of 14.64% and a revenue per lawyer (“RPL”) increase of 13.1%. Sean offered insight into the factors and client service areas that contributed to these increases, such as heightened activity in real estate in 2024 after a difficult year for the industry in 2023.

The “energy and effectiveness of our partners in generating new opportunities” were also significant contributors, along with an emphasis on lateral recruiting in Washington, D.C. Sean shared that examples of these opportunities were found in the Healthcare practice in Washington, D.C., and included disputes over inappropriate federal rulemaking and insurance companies “not paying what they should to the providers who are rendering medical care.”

Plans for sustained, organic, and strategic growth are already in place as the firm went through an in-depth strategic planning process throughout the past year.
