Marissa Coleman Recognized as On the Rise by the Daily Report’s 2023 Southeastern Legal Awards

Atlanta, April 24, 2023 – Arnall Golden Gregory (AGG) is pleased to announce that Real Estate partner and member of the Affordable Housing team, Marissa J. Coleman, has been honored by the Daily Report’s 2023 Southeastern Legal Awards in the “On the Rise” category, which recognizes the Southeast’s most promising lawyers under the age of 40. For inclusion in the list, attorneys must be innovators, developing unique practice niches, amassing robust books of business, demonstrating strong leadership qualities, showing expertise in litigation or transactional work, as well as committing themselves to pro bono, charitable, and professional volunteer work.

At AGG, Marissa advises investors, developers, and financial institutions throughout commercial real estate transactions, including financings, acquisitions, dispositions, development, and joint venture negotiations related to the development of assets across the U.S. in the housing, office, warehouse, and retail industries. Additionally, she is a strong advocate for the advancement of affordable housing transactions and programs in her local community and beyond. Marissa also serves as the co-chair of the Black Legal Professionals Subcommittee of the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee and is dedicated to offering pro bono services, including the negotiation of commercial space leases for nonprofit organizations.

In the community, she is on the board of directors for the Atlanta Women’s Affordable Housing Network, where she supports the organization in its mission to elevate and connect women who are making a positive impact on the affordable housing industry in Atlanta. She also sat on the board of HouseProud from 2019 to 2021 and was a member of the 2022 Leadership Class of Urban Land Institute – Atlanta.
