Beth B. Moore Named Co-Chair of AGG's Entertainment & Sports Team

Atlanta, April 19, 2023 – Arnall Golden Gregory (AGG) announces that Beth B. Moore, who recently joined the firm as of counsel, has been named co-chair of its Entertainment & Sports industry team in Atlanta. In this role, Beth will continue her advocacy of Georgia’s prominent film and television industry by supporting the wide range of industry players in all business and legal aspects of their operations. In addition to her film and television work, Beth is a formidable champion for artists and investors in music, literature, theater, gaming, e-sports, social media, and other creative arts industries.

“We are excited that Beth will be assuming a leadership position with the Entertainment & Sports team. I will be forever grateful to Tucker Barr, who was my co-chair for the past few years, for his dedication to our team,” said Matthew V. Wilson, co-chair of the Entertainment & Sports industry team. “As Georgia’s entertainment industry continues to grow as an important sector of our economy, Beth will play an integral role as an advocate, connector, and dealmaker in this vibrant community.”

“Georgia’s entertainment industry is a star in the making,” said Beth, a lifelong resident of Atlanta. “With an experienced pool of actors, writers, and filmmakers, a prime location with access to major markets, and world-class infrastructure to support productions of all sizes, Georgia has become a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment world.”

Thanks to its competitive tax credits, diverse geography, and investment in workforce training, such as the Georgia Film Academy, Georgia is quickly becoming the go-to destination for filmmakers and investors.

“From the bustling city streets of Atlanta to the historic charm of coastal Savannah, and from the mountains of north Georgia to the sand dunes of Albany, Georgia has everything a filmmaker could want and need,” she added. “By joining the multidisciplinary practice at AGG, I can now confidently offer a ‘one-stop-shop’ for production agreements, investment deals, business formation and partnerships, tax credit guidance, union compliance, copyright and trademark registrations, real estate, employment contracts, work visas, and litigation support.”

From 2018-2022, Beth represented Georgia’s House District 95. As the only Georgia legislator who worked in entertainment law at the time, Beth was instrumental in protecting and advancing the interests of the entertainment industry under the Gold Dome, earning her the “Friend of Film” award in 2019 from the Georgia Screen Entertainment Coalition.

Beth earned her law degree from the Georgia State University College of Law and undergraduate degrees in German and psychology from the University of Georgia.
