ATLANTA – In its recently-released 2018 rankings, Best Lawyers® honors Arnall Golden Gregory partner Suzanne Tucker Plybon as Lawyer of the Year for Trust and Estates Law in metro Atlanta.
A Lawyer of the Year is an attorney with the highest overall peer-feedback for a specific practice area and geographic region. Only one attorney is recognized as the Lawyer of the Year for each specialty and location.
Ms. Plybon is vice-chair of AGG’s Private Wealth Practice and co-chair of the firm’s Tax-Exempt and Charitable Organizations Practice. An author and frequent lecturer on estate planning topics, she is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a Certified Public Accountant.
Ms. Plybon’s practice focuses on complex wealth transfer planning for high-net-worth clients, and includes international estate planning, sophisticated post-mortem planning and administration, business succession planning and charitable planning. She also advises tax-exempt entities on a broad array of issues.
Ms. Plybon serves on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Capital City Club, of which she is secretary-treasurer. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Woodruff Arts Center and is a member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council, the Duke University Alumni Admissions Advisory Committee and the Duke University Atlanta Women’s Forum.
