Kevin Coy to Speak on Public Record Data Acquisition at NCRA Elevate 2026

AGG Privacy & Cybersecurity practice chair and Background Screening industry team co-chair, Kevin Coy, will speak at NCRA Elevate 2026, held November 10-12, 2026, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

On November 11, Kevin will join the panel, “From Courthouse to Consumer Report: Best Practices for Public Record Data Acquisition,” to discuss how tenant screening companies can evaluate public record vendors; build effective vendor relationships; and address court record availability, data accuracy, matching, and regulatory expectations.

Public record information is central to many tenant screening reports, but gaps in source availability or matching can create Fair Credit Reporting Act compliance and operational risk. The discussion will offer practical considerations for consumer reporting agencies selecting vendors, conducting due diligence, monitoring data quality, handling disputes, and preparing for increased scrutiny of public record reporting.
