Brian Stimson and Aaron Danzig to Speak at HCCA 28th Annual Compliance Institute

AGG Healthcare Litigation partner Brian Stimson and AGG Government Investigations partner Aaron Danzig will speak at the Health Care Compliance Association 28^th Annual Compliance Institute in Nashville, Tennessee.

On April 16, 2024, Brian will present “The All Surprises Acts: Avoiding Compliance Pitfalls and Responding to Administrative Enforcement Actions Under the Surprise Billing Laws.” During the session, he will share common compliance pitfalls under federal and state surprise billing laws and best practices for avoiding such pitfalls. He will also discuss administrative enforcement activities and how to respond to administrative inquiries.

On April 17, 2024, Aaron will serve on a panel titled “Update on Stark, Anti-Kickback, and EKRA Developments.” The panel will discuss the most significant enforcement actions and settlements related to these laws and government guidance and healthcare fraud enforcement trends. They will also provide takeaways on how to reduce AKS, Stark, and EKRA compliance risks and address possible violations.

The full program will be held from April 14-17, 2024, at Music City Center. Attendees will learn about regulatory updates, new and emerging issues, and program best practices, as well as gain insights on key compliance issues from experienced industry leaders.
