AGG Payment Systems & Fintech Co-Chairs to Speak at APP Level Up 2024

AGG Payment Systems & Fintech co-chairs Theresa Kananen and Ed Marshall will speak at the Association of Payment Professionals’ (“APP”) Level Up 2024 on March 6, 2024, at Park MGM in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Theresa will serve as a panelist during the session, “Paradoxes: Navigating Conflicting Regulations in Payments,” which will explore paradoxes arising from conflicting privacy state laws, the nuanced landscape of card brand guidelines, surcharging regulations, online gaming, and dating merchants.

Ed will co-present the session, “Regulatory Perspectives and Enforcement: A Critical Take,” which will offer insights into the FTC’s enforcement priorities and recent enforcement actions. Focusing on real-world case studies, this session will provide practical strategies to mitigate regulatory risks and delve into the factual and legal foundations of the regulatory landscape.

The Level Up annual conference, which will be held from March 5-7, 2024, aims to educate attendees on risk, compliance, and payment topics.
