On December 7, 2022, the Daily Report published an article featuring AGG Litigation partner David Marmins and Real Estate partner Andy Much following their participation in Covenant House Georgia’s annual Sleep Out in Atlanta. Participants at the event sleep outside to show solidarity with youth facing homelessness and raise funds for the organization, with temperatures dropping below 30 degrees during this year’s November 17 outing.
The Sleep Out helps ensure Covenant House can continue to provide a space for youth to sleep safely and receive meals, education, workforce development, medical and mental health care, and other essential services to help build better futures. This year, Covenant House also gave tours of its new facility that will house 30 long-term residents transitioning from the shelter to independence, an accomplishment that, like Covenant House’s services, are made possible by the annual Sleep Out fundraiser. The organization raised more than $1 million, and AGG donated more than $29,000, well ahead of its $20,000 goal.
