Rick Mitchell Named 2026 AVLF Safe & Stable Families Volunteer of the Year

AGG Litigation & Dispute Resolution partner Rick Mitchell has been named the Safe & Stable Families Volunteer of the Year by the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation (“AVLF”) as part of the organization’s 2026 All-Star Awards.

A long-time supporter of AVLF’s Safe & Stable Families program, Rick has represented clients seeking emergency reprieve from intimate partner abuse. He was selected for his dedication and compassion, as well as the meaningful difference he has created for the families and communities that AVLF serves.

The awards ceremony will take place April 23, 2026, at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia, recognizing volunteers, partners, and advocates whose work supports AVLF’s mission of providing legal assistance and stability for families across the Atlanta community.

AGG will also be recognized at the awards for donating the most pro bono hours to AVLF and raising the most funds in the Adair Park Group during the 2025 AVLF Cup.
