Atlanta, May 2, 2022 – Arnall Golden Gregory (AGG) is pleased to announce that Hedy Silver Rubinger has been selected as a 2022 Woman of Influence by GlobeSt.com and GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum in the CRE Legal Counsel category. Since 1983, GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum has recognized a growing number of commercial real estate female professionals for their remarkable achievements. Honorees will be recognized in the July/August 2022 issue of GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum and at the publication’s third annual GlobeSt. ELITE Women of Influence Awards Dinner, which will be held in Park City, Utah, on July 26.

“It is an honor to be recognized among this prestigious group of inspirational leaders in commercial real estate whose remarkable achievements continue to push the industry forward,” said Hedy. “I am grateful to the editors at GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum for spotlighting and celebrating the contributions of women in the CRE field.”

Hedy is a member of AGG’s Executive Committee, as well as a partner and founding chair of the firm’s Healthcare practice and a member of the Healthcare Real Estate industry team. Hedy represents the owners and operators of healthcare real estate assets including nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, retirement communities, hospitals, home health agencies, hospices, physician groups, and more. She also represents domestic and foreign private equity investors in healthcare, REITs, and other investors in healthcare real estate, developers of healthcare facilities, management companies, and lenders. Hedy formed AGG’s Change of Ownership (CHOW) team to counsel her clients on the regulatory aspects of their healthcare transactions often involving real estate portfolios. The CHOW team, under Hedy’s leadership, has served as primary regulatory counsel in transactions valued at more than $35 billion.

Hedy has received numerous accolades throughout her career and her diligent work led to AGG’s recognition for client service and excellence at the fifth annual Client Advisor Awards in the “Large Professional Services Firm” category. An industry leader, Hedy has served as a contributing author for the Fifty State Survey of Certificate of Need and Licensure: Nursing Homes, Assisted Living, Home Health, and Hospice (American Health Lawyers Association) and the Healthcare Reform Law Resource Guide (American Health Lawyers Association). Her commentary is often sought out for articles and publications by leading industry news outlets. She was recently profiled in a “Women in Wellness” article, offering her insight on lifestyle changes to support a journey toward wellbeing.

As a natural extension of her work representing clients in the healthcare industry, Hedy developed a personal interest in finding a cure for dementia and has led efforts to bolster AGG’s support for the Alzheimer’s Association. Hedy was also instrumental in the formation of the Health Law Partnership (HeLP), a community collaboration among the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and Georgia State University College of Law. As a member of the organization’s Advisory Council, she provides ongoing advice on legal, ethical, and practical issues in the operation of HeLP and its community partnership. She also serves as a regional leader for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and was appointed by the Georgia Department of Community Health, Division of Health Planning, to serve on a technical advisory committee charged with recommending changes to the inpatient healthcare delivery system.
