Jackie Cooney to Speak at 2023 Privacy + Security Forum Fall Academy on New U.S. State Privacy Laws

AGG Data Privacy co-chair Jackie Cooney will present “New U.S. State Privacy Laws: A Discussion on Practical Ways to Comply With All These New Requirements” at the Privacy + Security Forum Fall Academy on November 9, 2023, at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Jackie will discuss how to understand and operationalize the various requirements across the 13 comprehensive U.S. state privacy laws, plus Washington’s “My Health My Data Act.” She will provide insights into how to work with business stakeholders to develop technical and operational fixes, as well as how to create a governance structure for assessing, implementing, and tracking compliance activities.
