Lisa Churvis to Serve as Judge for Southern Region Black Law Students Association Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition

On February 25, 2022, AGG Healthcare attorney Lisa Churvis will serve as a judge for the Southern Region Black Law Students Association (SRBLSA) Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition (TMMCC) during the 51^st Annual SRBLSA Regional Convention & Career Fair.

The TMMCC consists of a maximum of 18 teams made up of two advocates per team. Teams will write briefs arguing on behalf of petitioner and respondent. Regional competitions will simulate an appellate oral argument proceeding. The oral arguments during each round are evaluated on the competitor’s overall ability as an appellate advocate.
