Biography

Erin is an associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property, and Trademarks practices, as well as the Entertainment & Sports industry team. Her practice involves trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement. She has also represented clients in Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedowns, rights of publicity disputes, and copyright enforcement actions.

Erin joined AGG following a two-year federal clerkship with the Honorable William T. Moore, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.

Erin earned her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law, where she served as the symposium editor for the Georgia State University Law Review. Prior, she received her Bachelor of Science in Education and Sports Management from the University of Georgia in 2016.

Experience

    • Led representation of Atlanta-based real estate investment platform in federal trademark infringement action against a housing services company arising from the defendant’s adoption and use of a logo confusingly similar to the client’s registered trademarks. The matter was swiftly resolved through a favorable settlement requiring the defendant to rebrand to a non-infringing logo and make a monetary payment to the client.
