Scott Shuman is a partner in the Retail Practice, co-leader of the Healthcare Real Estate Practice and a member of the Retail Practice.
Mr. Shuman focuses his practice primarily on retail, healthcare and mixed-use projects. His retail practice focuses on the acquisition, leasing and disposition of regional shopping centers, neighborhood centers, single tenant buildings and restaurants. His healthcare facility practice is centered around hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, medical office buildings and other healthcare related property. He represents a number of regional, national and international real estate investment trusts (REITS), developers, property owners and tenants on both a nationwide and local basis.
Mr. Shuman was quoted in a Feb. 3, 2010 Atlanta Journal-Constitution article titled "Shopping Center Attracting Medical Facilities." In Sept. 2009, he was interviewed for an article titled “Health Care Facilities’ Move to Malls Creates ‘Win-Win’ for Landlords, Patients,” by the Bureau of National Affairs Inc.
