B. Joseph Alley Jr. is a partner in and serves as the chair of the Securities and Corporate Governance Practice. A graduate of the Yale Law School, Mr. Alley has been advising both public and private companies with respect to complex securities and corporate governance issues for more than 25 years.
Mr. Alley focuses his practice primarily on securities law and corporate governance. He has extensive experience advising public companies on a wide variety of securities compliance and corporate governance matters, representing issuers and underwriters in public offerings, and in representing companies in private placements. Mr. Alley is the author of the "Non-GAAP Financial Measures Handbook," published by TheCorporateCounsel.net.
Mr. Alley received his B.S. in mathematics from the University of Alabama, where he graduated first in his class in 1981. He has served on the Boards of Directors of Aid Atlanta and Actor’s Express, and has the distinction of having won (twice) on Jeopardy.
