Jennifer L. Shelfer is a partner in the Litigation Practice.
Ms. Shelfer focuses her practice on litigating and defending business and employment cases in state and federal courts, and has handled cases in Georgia, Florida, California, Pennsylvania and Ohio. Her concentration is on contract and lease disputes, business tort claims, and employment discrimination suits brought under Title VII. In addition, Ms. Shelfer has assisted in defending white collar criminal and civil cases against the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Office of the United States Attorney in Atlanta, and has assisted in defending against claims before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in Washington, DC.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Shelfer obtained a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver. Ms. Shelfer joined the firm following a two-year federal clerkship with the Honorable John Antoon II of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is admitted to practice in both Georgia and Florida.
