Tia is of counsel in the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice.
She focuses her practice on the technical and regulatory aspects of employee benefit matters, including qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and executive compensation issues. She has also worked with clients performing compliance reviews, resolving compliance and fiduciary issues, and assisting with service provider arrangements. Tia has extensive experience working with boards of trustees for multi-employer plans with respect to issues such as employer delinquencies, health care reform, and plan correction issues. Her knowledge further enables her to translate technical and often complex material regarding tax law into digestible information her clients can apply to accomplish their objectives, ensuring compliance with the appropriate legal regulations.
Tia was a member of the Georgia State University Law Review, and teaches a high intensity interval training exercise class.
