Reid is an associate in the Litigation and Intellectual Property practices.
Reid has assisted clients in a wide range of litigation matters throughout his career and additionally has experience with both insurance coverage and insurance defense matters. Additionally, Reid has represented a variety of clients with their intellectual property needs both prosecuting, filing and assisting with the defense of their intellectual property in the areas of copyright and trademark.
Reid earned a Juris Doctor, with honors, from Emory University School of Law, where he was in the top 10% of his class and graduated with the honor of Order of the Coif. He completed a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, where he majored in Political Science and spent two years as a member of the Division I varsity tennis team.
Reid was previously an extern for the Atlanta Hawks in-house legal counsel, and for The Coca-Cola Company’s sports and global marketing in-house legal team. Earlier in his career, Reid was a judicial extern for Judge Craig Schwall at the Superior Court of Fulton County.
Reid previously worked for NBC Universal at the 2012 London Olympics, where he escorted high-ranking business executives to Olympic Games and events as part of the Olympic Guide program. He subsequently held a stage position in the European Parliament in Brussels, where he worked for Alfredo Antoniozzi, a Member of Parliament and Attorney from Italy, whom he assisted on day-to-day legislature tasks.
Reid is involved with the Atlanta Bar Association and volunteers as a mock trial coach at South Atlanta High School. Reid is a longtime Atlanta native and avid Atlanta sports fan.
