Nirouz is an associate in the Healthcare practice. She provides advice to a variety of healthcare providers, including hospitals, healthcare systems, physician groups, and post-acute providers. Nirouz offers counseling to clients on a range of healthcare topics, including analysis and advice on fraud and abuse principles (including physician self-referral and anti-kickback issues), regulatory due diligence, privacy and security compliance (HIPAA/HITECH), as well as licensure and certificate of need (CON) frameworks.
Prior to joining AGG, Nirouz served as a law clerk for the Honorable Abdul K. Kallon, U.S. District Court Judge for the Northern District of Alabama. Nirouz’s past experience also includes serving as a volunteer attorney with the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands.
Nirouz received her Juris Doctorate, with honors, from Emory University School of Law and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in International Affairs and Modern Languages, with highest honor, from Georgia Tech.
