Biography
Matt is an associate in the Private Wealth practice.
Matt advises individuals and their families on complex wealth transfer planning strategies, including estate and gift tax planning, generation-skipping transfer tax planning, charitable giving, family business succession planning, and estate administration.
Matt graduated second in his class from the University of North Carolina School of Law where he served as an articles editor for the North Carolina Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Matt worked in the institutional equity sales division at Jefferies where he covered investors based in the Southeast.
