Caroline E. Dorsey

Caroline is an associate in the Corporate & Finance practice.

Caroline focuses her practice on counseling clients on ERISA-related matters and employee benefits programs. Prior to joining AGG, Caroline served as associate general counsel for the Georgia Municipal Association, Inc., where she provided legal counsel for all aspects relating to the defined benefit, deferred compensation, and defined contribution plans administered by the organization; ensured retirements funds complied with state and federal laws; implemented cafeteria plans; and negotiated third-party contracts. Experienced in providing seminars to the organization’s membership on complex legal issues related to retirement benefits, Caroline is adept at breaking down intricate subjects into an easy-to-understand format for her clients.

Having spent six years as in-house counsel supporting a non-profit organization in achieving its corporate goals while mitigating risk, Caroline is uniquely equipped to address her clients’ needs and identify practical solutions.

While earning her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law, Caroline interned at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, working closely with a legal team handling investigations in the complex financial instruments unit.
