Drew is an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Intellectual Property practice groups and focuses on complex commercial litigation involving intellectual property, health systems, and real property. Drew has extensive experience prosecuting and defending claims of trademark infringement and unfair competition, and he regularly represents brand owners in cancellation and opposition proceedings before the United States Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Drew also counsels and represents hospitals and health systems on compliance and in litigation under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act, and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and in civil rights investigations brought by the Department of Justice and the Office for Civil Rights at the Department of Health and Human Services.


  • Represented one of the largest health systems in the Southeast in an investigation by the Department of Justice into an allegation of discrimination against a patient with mobility disabilities.

  • Assisted in obtaining summary judgment against $24 million RICO and trademark counterfeiting claims brought by a Fortune 50 airline company.

  • Assisted in the defense of multi-million dollar international patent inventorship dispute related to the use of ultrasonic drying technology in the paper manufacturing industry.
