Andrew is a partner in the Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution groups and chairs the firm’s Health Information Technology industry team. Andrew’s practice is focused on protecting his clients’ business assets, including technology and intellectual property. Not only a skilled litigator handling complex business disputes in both domestic and cross-border forums, he is also an arbitrator on the American Arbitration Association’s commercial panel and a registered mediator with expertise in both traditional and online dispute resolution. He counsels clients with an international presence across a range of industries including healthcare, technology, manufacturing, software and app development, and life sciences.
Andrew has extensive experience in high stakes and bet-the-company litigation across subject matters including unfair competition and theft of trade secrets, interference with business relations, breach of contract, the Uniform Commercial Code, lending and creditors’ rights, employment law, products liability, false advertising, trademark and patent infringement, defamation and rights of publicity, business valuation, breach of fiduciary duty, and shareholder rights and corporate governance. Andrew is part of a national trial practice, appearing as pro hac vice trial counsel in state and federal courts of other jurisdictions around the country. As a member of the firm’s international business team, and a German speaker with an L.L.M. in international and comparative law, he also handles a range of cross-border disputes.
