AGG Partner Hedy S. Rubinger and Associate Jessica Tobin Grozine authored a chapter, “The Impact of PPACA on Nursing Home Operations” in the Healthcare Reform Law Resource Guide, a recent book by the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA). The Resource Guide is meant to address the changes brought about by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (PPACA), which presents various legal and compliance issues and challenges for healthcare attorneys and providers. The Resource Guide contains chapters from more than 60 experience healthcare attorneys who detail and explore the implications of the law across numerous areas of practice and settings. Ms. Rubinger’s and Ms. Grozine’s chapter pinpoints the number of provisions in the PPACA specifically directed at nursing homes. For more information on the AHLA, please click here.
