Shopping Center Attracting Medical Facilities

Steven A. Kaye and Scott Shuman were quoted in an Atlanta Journal-Constitution article entitled, “Shopping Center Attracting Medical Facilities.” The article discusses how Atlanta’s retail vacancy rate of 11 percent is forcing shopping center owners to seek alternative uses for their centers. Mr. Kaye says that healthcare tenants are more credit-worthy, pay higher rents and draw clients from a larger geographical radius.
