The National Law Journal reporter Amanda Bronstad interviewed AGG Partner Michael E. Burke for an article titled “ABA Section to Focus on Protections for the Disabled Internationally,” (registration may be required to view). In the article, Mr. Bruke discusses the disabled, legal implications of the debt crisis sweeping Europe, burgeoning Chinese economy and democratic shifts in the Middle East. He also discusses the increased government enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. The article also appeared Law.com. On August 9, 2011, Mr. Burke will take over as chairman of the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law, and one of his priorities is to focus on the rights of the disabled worldwide.
