AGG former partner, Alvan Arnall, passed away following a long battle with cancer. Mr. Arnall had many friends here and will be deeply missed. Mr. Arnall is survived by his wife, Carol Lowry Arnall; daughter, Ashley Arnall Felton; son, Taylor Gibbs Arnall; and beloved grandchildren, Jackson Taylor Felton, Benjamin Arnall Felton, and Caroline Delaney Felton.
Visitation will begin in the sanctuary of Trinity Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, February 7, at 12:00 p.m. with a memorial service following at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Mr. Arnall was born in Newnan, Georgia on February 24, 1938. He was the son of AGG Founding Partner Ellis Gibbs Arnall and Mildred Slemons Arnall.
A graduate of Staunton Military Academy, The University of the South, Alvan Arnall was a member of Kappa Alpha Order Fraternity. He received his law degree from the University of Georgia Law School, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. During his college summer sessions, he attended Marine Corps Officer Candidates School, and after graduating served three years active duty as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Following his Marine service, he joined Arnall Golden Gregory, where he worked in corporate law for 32 years, having retired in 1998.
