Through his participation as a member of the Board of Directors of the Metro Atlanta Chamber, AGG Managing Partner Glenn P. Hendrix is heading an initiative to develop an international arbitration center in Atlanta to facilitate global business. The initiative is shared by the Metro Atlanta Chamber, local law firms, corporations and universities. Mr. Hendrix revealed the initiative on March 9, 2011, at the Chamber’s luncheon honoring recipients of its Global Impact awards. Mr. Hendrix says that arbitration centers are flourishing in major cities around the globe, and Atlanta is positioned to be a prime location for one due to its being within a two-hour flight of anywhere in the U.S., along with being home to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport, the “busiest airport in the world” and headquarters of Delta Air Lines Inc.
