Glenn Hendrix Quoted in CDR Magazine

CDR, the quarterly printed magazine of the organization Commercial Dispute Resolution (CDR), published an article titled “Arbitration Bill Passes Georgia State Legislature,” which quotes AGG Managing Partner Glenn P. Hendrix (subscription may be required to view full article). The article announces the passing of Georgia State Senate Bill 383, which will amend the Georgia International Commercial Arbitration Code to make the state even more susceptible to receiving international arbitrations. The article says that Bill specifically defines issues such as the application procedures for commercial arbitration and the processes by which arbitral tribunal members are selected and disqualified. Mr. Hendrix says the Bill is based on the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law—the global standard for international arbitration laws—and that its enactment will build on Georgia’s already favorable conditions for arbitral proceedings.
