Glenn Hendrix Featured in Daily Report for Launch of International Arbitration Conference

AGG Managing Partner Glenn P. Hendrix is featured in an April 16, 2012, Daily Report article titled “Lawyers pitch Atlanta as an international arbitration site.” In November 2010, Mr. Hendrix sent an email to 40 local lawyers whom he thought would share his enthusiasm about establishing Atlanta as a seat for international business arbitration. Now, only 16 months later, the Atlanta International Arbitration Society (AtlAS) just hosted its inaugural conference highlighting the city’s international arbitration friendly laws and promoting Atlanta as a neutral location for commercial contract resolution. Participants in the conference, titled “The United State and Its Place in the International Arbitration System of the 21st Century,” included International Chamber of Commerce’s International Court of Arbitration Chairman John Beechey from Paris; China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission Secretary-General Yu Jianlong from Beijing; and Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services International Managing Director Lorraine Brennan from London. The conference was held April 16–18, 2012, at the Loews hotel in Midtown Atlanta.
