A team of AGG attorneys helped a family-owned German company establish a foothold in the United States.
A ceremony was held this month marking the opening of the J. Schneider Elektrotechnik GmbH plant in Aurora, Colo. J. Schneider makes electrical transformers used in alternative energy and light rail.
In Aurora, J. Schneider is a supplier for another German company, SMA Solar Technology AG, the world’s largest maker of solar inverters, which operates a plant in Denver.
The Arnall Golden Gregory team handled virtually all legal matters for J. Schneider’s entrance into the U.S. market. That included advising on site selection, risk management and avoidance, incentives, acquisition and redevelopment of a building, and visa applications.
