Arnall Golden Gregory Takes Leadership Roles in Logistics Space to Help Clients

ATLANTA – Attorneys in Arnall Golden Gregory’s Logistics and Transportation Practice are taking leadership positions to keep clients abreast of the latest developments in the industry.
Michael E. Burke, a partner in the firm’s Washington office, moderated for the second consecutive year a panel discussion at the Georgia Logistics Summit, “Keep it Legal – Review of the Upcoming Regulatory Tidal Wave.”

Panelists discussed three big developments in the industry: the electronic logging device (ELD), the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) sanitary transportation rule, and implementation of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).
Michael F. Holbein, a partner in the Atlanta office, is a member of the Atlanta Maritime Association (AMA) Board. The AMA serves Atlanta’s regional international ocean cargo community by offering industry-specific educational events, networking opportunities and discussion forums.

Another Atlanta partner, Chesley S. McLeod, is on the board of the Transportation Club of Atlanta, which promotes greater understanding of transportation and logistics issues through regular discussion. A key goal of the TCA is to encourage young people to pursue transportation careers.

Arnall Golden Gregory’s Logistics and Transportation Practice represents third-party logistics providers (3PLs), warehouse operators, freight forwarders, carriers (trucking and airlines), non-vessel operating common carriers, customs brokers, shippers, insurers, sureties, banks and other capital providers, and others in the industry.
