ATLANTA — Mayor Kasim Reed nominated Arnall Golden Gregory partner Teri A. Simmons to serve on the Sister Cities International Board of Directors.
Founded in 1956, Sister Cities International is a 501(c)(3) that serves as the national membership organization for individual sister cities, counties, and states across the U.S. This network unites tens of thousands of citizen diplomats and volunteers in 570 member communities in 150 countries.
Ms. Simmons, leader of AGG’s International Immigration and Naturalization Practice and the German Business Team, formerly chaired Atlanta’s Sister Cities Commission.
She focuses her practice on managing legal services that support foreign-owned business entities and individuals investing in the United States. Ms. Simmons manages companies’ global immigration needs through the Employment Law Alliance and handles U.S. immigrant and non-immigrant visa processing for businesses and families (temporary work visas and green cards), immigration consequences of mergers and acquisitions, and Immigration Reform and Control Act compliance.
